Desire DB

Take it out.

Some records in Desire DB come from public sources: a tender notice, a hiring thread. Each names its source, links to the post, and keeps the author's contact route sealed. If one of them is yours and you want it gone, say so here.

What to remove

What happens next

A person reads the request. For one record, the record is withdrawn: it leaves search, the export, and the next snapshot. For a source, the source is switched off in the importer's registry, every record from it is withdrawn, and nothing more is read from it. Both take a day at most.

A record from a public source carries attributes.source with the source name, url with the post, and basis: inferred. The author's contact route is encrypted to the importer's key and never shown; a reveal request reaches the importer, which asks the author before anything is passed on. The rules are in the protocol, and the sources and their terms are listed on the open data page.

A record you posted yourself is withdrawn with desire withdraw <id> or from the app. This page is for records an importer made from a public post.
